Journal of Contemporary Language Research (JCLR) is a peer-reviewed quarterly publication concerned with different aspects of applied linguistics, language teaching and testing, and translation. JCLR is a venue for studies that demonstrate sound research methods and theoretical bases with a visible practical application which can be generalized. The scope of JCLR includes the following fields: teaching English as a second or foreign language, English language teachers’ training and education, Language teaching methodologies, Pedagogical techniques, Classroom-centered research, Cross-cultural studies, Translation, Testing and evaluation, Applied linguistics, Language and culture. JCLR publishes quarterly on the 25th of March, June, September, and December with DOI prefix code of 10.58803/JCLR.
To ensure publication ethics, JCLR follows the guidelines put forward by COPE.

Website Archiving
This journal utilizes the PKP (LOCKSS), Portico, and Internet archive systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
Self-Archiving
Authors may archive the final published version of their articles in personal or institutional repositories immediately after publication.
